There are many tribute bands playing the music of  Rory Gallagher.  Some good, some not so good but what they are doing is keeping the music of this great musician alive.    Rory’s music reached a massive audience from Norway to Spain, from Japan to USA.. Covering alls parts of the globe and producing some of the greatest rock/blues albums of the 60s, 70s and the 80s…. Sadly we lost Rory on June 14th 1995…         

To his devoted fans and followers this was the ultimate tragedy.   The BAND OF FRIENDS is not a tribute to Rory, but more a celebration of his life and music. The band consists of musicians who really played with Rory throughout his career.

Following the success of the FREE Black Moon  download Pallas will be starting the New Year with two more freebies. The first is a radical 'Big Band' remix of Monster  and the second is a downloadable Pallas Artwork calendar.  Both  of  the  downloads  will  be  available  from  the  6th  of  January  at  http://www.pallasxxv.com  As well as the 2 new downloads, Black Moon and Monster (radio edit) are also still available from the site.

The band are also pleased to announce that, to tie in with their European Tour they are releasing a Live DVD Pallas Live at Loreley (The Night of The Prog). Filmed at their show closing performance at The Night of The Prog Festival in 2010 it will be released in late January with advance copies being available vie the band's website (see above). It is also hoped that the DVD will come with 'special treats' for fans.2012 will continue with Pallas beginning pre production on the follow up album to XXV before the band hit the road in late Feb/March for a series of UK and European shows.

Si les premiers albums étaient marqués par des textes d’inspiration fantastique on peu dire qu’au fil des années ceux-ci sont devenus plus introspectifs, la musique elle ayant pris de plus en plus la direction du metal progressif. FATES WARNING peut satisfaire aussi bien les amateurs de Hard que de Metal Progressif…

Voici  certainement un des groupes les plus anciens et  les plus réputés de la scène  RnB Pub Rock en Angleterre. Principalement mené par le guitariste Denis Grave et  l’harmoniciste Mark Feltham , ils seront rejoints par Brendan O Neil  (drums) et Gerry Mc Avoy  (basse) au décès de Rory Gallagher. Leur carrière a souvent été parallèle à celle de Dr Feelgood,  sans cependant avoir connu de hits marquants dans les charts… ce qui n’enlève rien à la qualité du groupe.    Leur musique est simple et basique et surtout très « carrée » .. elle va directement vers l’essentiel et de ce qui a toujours fait la base du rock Anglais des 60’s et 70’s : la guitare en avant, bien entendu  ! Gerry Mc Avoy vient tout juste de quitter le groupe pour se lancer dans un nouveau projet basé sur la musique de Rory Gallagher.  Il  est  remplacé par Brian Bethell, qui a déjà joué dans d’autres groupes avec Denis Grave….
