Sadly we lost Rory on June 14th 1995…         To his devoted fans and followers this was the ultimate tragedy.   The BAND OF FRIENDS is not a tribute to Rory, but more a celebration of his life and music. Leur carrière a souvent été parallèle à celle de Dr Feelgood,  sans cependant avoir connu de hits marquants dans les charts… ce qui n’enlève rien à la qualité du groupe.    Leur musique est simple et basique et surtout très « carrée » .. elle va directement vers l’essentiel et de ce qui a toujours fait la base du rock Anglais des 60’s et 70’s : la guitare en avant, bien entendu  !
