IAN SIEGAL (vocs/guitar). In 2011 he released The Skinny, a critically acclaimed album  recorded in North Mississippi and produced by Cody Dickinson. This recording project led to the formation of the Mississippi Mudbloods.



ALVIN YOUNGBLOOD HART (bass) A Grammy, a WC Handy Award, two Living Blues Awards, BBC Blues Album of the Year and a host of other accolades say it all about this multi-talented resident of North Mississippi.

Le groupe, composé de deux guitaristes verviétois , d'un contre-bassiste et d’un violoniste , joue tous les standards que le célèbre manouche a composés ou interprétés.    Il poursuit  son exploration dans les répertoires que Django n'aurait pu manquer de visiter : ceux du cool jazz et de la bossa nova.     La musique de  O Juliette " s'inspire essentiellement de celle de Django Reinhardt.

In 1957 John Steel and Eric Burdon formed what was later to be The Animals.

John Steel has worked constantly since the late 1950’s. The Original Animals split in 1966 but reformed again in the 1970’s to record a new Album. They got together again in the 1980’s and embarked on a mammoth 12 month world tour. In the 1990’s the band was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Since 1993 John Steel has spearheaded a new band performing all the classic hits. He is joined on stage by fellow 1965 Animal veteran, Mick Gallagher who replaced Alan Price on the eve of a Scandinavian tour. Mickey’s credits also include The Clash, Paul McCartney, Peter Frampton, Roger Daltrey and The Blockheads. The line-up also consists of Peter Barton on Bass and Vocals. Pete has been working with John since the early 1990’s, previous to that Peter was bass player with Wayne Fontana as one of The Mindbenders. Danny Handley completes the current line-up. Danny’s credits include Spencer Davis, Ric Lee (Ten Years After) and Bobby Elliott of The Hollies.

Over the last two decades John Steel and the band have completed countless successful tours around the world. The band has released several new CD’s along with new DVD’s.

The band still performs to packed houses around the world.

Now in his 70’s John Steel still continues to perform with the passion and energy that he has always had. Without doubt one of the great British pioneers of Blues and Rock.

Louis King was born and grew up in, Glasgow, Scotland and was raised on a diet of Motown, Soul and Blues – for which he is eternally grateful.He moved to Australia as a Big nosed teenager in 1972 He came to prominence as a Drummer (as his alter ego Tommy McEwan) in the roots revival in Australia in the early 1980′s playing in Soul and Ska Bands Like No Nonsense and The Swingin’ Sidewalks.He played for 4 years with legendary Australian Rockabilly band The Straight 8′s. In 1995 , he started performing as lead guitar & vocals.  Louis King and the Liars Klub also released their debut self-titled album to critical acclaim and picked up the much coveted ‘Album of the Year’ from Melbourne’s Age Newspaper. Louis King is a dynamic stage performer who has been described as: « The greatest front man since Ghengis Khan » (Melbourne Herald Sun) and as“Coming out on stage Like a Haggis from Hell” (Brisbane’s On The Street).

Louis King’s philosophy is “If I’ve still got anything left to give after the show I didn’t put in a good one”.His live sets are legendary feats of showmanship and that makes him a highlight at any festival or event.

New   PROG 66 Meeting   Nouveau

Le SPIRIT OF 66 est très heureux de pouvoir vous annoncer la mise en place d'un nouvel évènement Prog important qui ne devrait pas dérouter ni décevoir nos nombreux amis qui apprécient la musique progressive, et surtout aiment se retrouver chez nous pour partager cette passion commune dans une atmosphère détendue et bon enfant.  Voici donc ce que nous préparons :

Le titre donné à l'évènement : PROG 66 Meeting



Les dates : 09, 10 et 11 Novembre 2012



Le programme : nous sommes toujours en discussion avec plusieurs groupe, dont un "nordique" qui serait une tête d’affiche très  importante... mais ceux-ci seront annoncés quand ils seront confirmés.

En attendant nous pouvons déjà vous confirmer la participation de :

FRENCH TV, NORDAGUST et RPWL.

Ce dernier viendra présenter l’intégralité de son magnifique "concept-show" qui a ébloui tout le monde lors de sa dernière tournée printanière.

Et pour ceux qui voudront nous rejoindre dès le vendredi 09, ils pourront assister à un super Tribute to YES par l’excellent groupe italien : YESSONGS... Impeccable !



Logement : Nous essayerons de prendre des accords avec différents hôtels et Chambres d’Hôtes de la région pour vous offrir des chambres à des prix intéressants. Des détails suivront...



Le prix des tickets : sera fixé dès nous aurons clôturé le programme.



Les réservations : débuteront dès l’annonce du programme complet... encore un peu de patience.

The SPIRIT OF 66 is very pleased to announce the set up of a new important PROG event, which should not  disappoint all our friends who love progressive music and who enjoy to be in our venue and share that common passion, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.



Here is what we are currently preparing:



Event name : PROG 66 Meeting



Dates:  9-10-11 NOV 2012



Program: We are still discussing with some bands, including a "nordic" one who would be an important headliner, but those names will be announced once confirmed.
So far we can already confirm the presence of

FRENCH TV, NORDAGUST and RPWL.

This last one will present the full version of the wonderful "concept-show" that dazzled everyone during the last spring tour.
And for those who'll wish to join us on the Friday night they will see the famous italian Tribute to YES, called YESSONGS... Wonderful!



Accommodation: We'll try to take agreements with various hotels and Bed & Breakfast in our region, to offer rooms in affordable prices. Details will follow...



Ticket price: will be decided announced once the program will be complete.



Reservations: will begin once the full program will be announced. Be patient!



In the meantime , please, already book that event in your agenda, and we hope to see you there
