Dom has won multiple awards for his acoustic work with a 2019 European award, UK awards in 2020/2021 and 2022 and as a result is now an inductee in the UK Blues Hall of Fame. Dom is equally adept on electric with his power trio, having won the UK Blues Awards Best Instrumentalist Award 2022. The trio is always an extremely popular addition to any blues/rock festival and Dom always likes to include a Rory Gallagher song or two amongst his originals as he strives “to keep Rory’s music alive”.

Concert de présentation de son nouveau CD « Histoires sans mots », un album dont l’atmosphère intimiste est forgée dans le style de Jacques, son « Fingerpicking mélodique ». Cette manière de jouer, qu’il affectionne depuis toujours, offre ces musiques, où les cordes de l’instrument prennent la place de la voix, et donne une fois de plus toute la place à la guitare pour raconter ces « Histoires sans mots ». Un album très lyrique qui dégage de la sérénité, peut-être parfois un peu de nostalgie, mais témoigne en tout cas d’un plaisir intarissable de simplement suivre une voie musicale entamée il y a longtemps… « Guitar is life » !
