GWYN ASHTON (Australia)
"one man band" blues rock show
UK-based Australian guitarist Gwyn Ashton re-defines the term ‘solo artist’ by delivering a high-energy blues-rock show, wrenching dirty slide guitar licks out of a pre-war National steel and various guitars through an array of vintage fuzz boxes, organ pedals and amplifiers. He does all this while he blows harp and sings into a distorted bullet harp mic, thumb-picks thick heavy-duty Zeppelin- like bass riffs through octave dividers and loops percussive sounds on the guitar with pick scrapes and a drumstick to emulate snare drum passages, whilst stomping on a kick drum.
Il conjugue essences blues du Mississippi, de la Nouvelle-Orléans et du Texas, surf des sixties, British rock des seventies et boogie australien percutant et débridé, tout seul avec sa guitare et quelques autres instruments (drums, etc...)

BERTRAND LANI & The Mudbugs (B)
Après un premier album solo sorti fin 2012, Bertrand Lani revient avec Small Bowl ..... Enregistré en quelques jours seulement, ce nouveau disque respire le plaisir qu’a éprouvé l’artiste namurois à travailler avec ses nouveaux musiciens, les Mudbugs. Entre les grooves lancinants, les beats entêtants et la finesse des mélodies, la formation fait preuve d’une étonnante maîtrise des contrastes et revendique son amour pour les musiques métissées. Avec la participation Fred Lani en guest sur quelques chansons.... qui sera aussi sur scène avec eus pour certains morceaux choisis...

VACANCES D'ETE DU 10/06 AU 18/08
SUMMER BREAK FROM 10/06 TO 18/08

En raison de la Coupe d'Europe de Football qui débute ce 10 juin et de toutes les activités qui en découlent sur la Place du Martyr juste devant chez nous (écran géant, nombreux concerts gratuits, etc...) il est impossible pour nous de présenter des concerts pendant cette période.  Nos vacances d'été commenceront donc nettement plus tôt que les autres années.  C'est avec grand plaisir que nous reprendrons nos concerts le 19/08 avec BEX MARSHALL.

Due do Football Europa Cup starting this next June 10th and all the activities related to this on the Square just in front of our doors (giant screen, lots of free concerts, etc...) it's totaly impossible for us to present shows during this period.  For all these reasons, we will have to start our Summer Break much earlier than usual.  We will be very happy to welcome you again on 19/08 with BEX MARSHALL
