James Newton Howard

Even on the lowly CD, which is all I have alas, this album sounds better than anything else I possess.
The idea of doing it in real time and live is what makes it so special.
A musical triumph.

Not sure what title by Howard you are talking about, but if you are talking about his soundtracks - you can keep them.

The only solid prog instrumental thing that Howard did was his very first self-titled lp release. Comes in a plain, mainly light blue textured foc . I think late 70s.
