Banco del Mutuo Soccorso was at its creative peak, performing three pieces live at the RAI Auditorium in Naples for the Auditorio A programme in 1977. Joined by Angelo Branduardi on violin for Si dice che i delfini parlino, the band demonstrates their unique blend of symphonic grandeur, intricate arrangements, and the elegance of 70s Rock Progressivo Italiano (RPI). This footage also captures the atmosphere of the Italian RAI television archives from the golden era of RPI. The year of 1977 was a significant milestone for Italian television because the state-owned RAI officially began full-colour television broadcasting that year; therefore, this footage is certainly one of the last to be shot in black and white, which is what RPI band appearances on RAI during the 70s are known for.
