Playing the 1978 gig at Rockpalast in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle, Grobschnitt actually performed at home in this live footage of their Solar Music. That music features intricate musical structures, characterised by blistering guitar solos, spacey keys, and an exciting rhythm section. At times, this brilliant performance, not without a dash of German humour, evokes a blend of the ecstasy found in space-rock à la Steve Hillage with the grandness of sympho-rock.
