LARI BASILIO (Brazil)
The career of Brazilian guitarist Lari Basilio is impressive. With her brilliant technical playing and boundless creativity, she has gained musical greats like Vinnie Colaiuta (drums) and Leland Sklar (bass) for her projects in just a few years. She won the instrumental category at the 2014 Samsung E-Festival and has opened guitar clinics for Paul Gilbert and Andy Timmons. At the invitation of Joe Satriani, she became the first female guitarist to perform at the 2019 G4 Experience. Being a technical yet melodic player has always come naturally to Lari. Many feel that she has taken the electric guitar in a new direction and, at the same time, brought it to a new level.
