Omar Hakim is most well know for his legendary drumming with Weather Report, Sting, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and David Bowie.  He can be heard on hundreds more recordings including Mariah Carey,   Celine Dion,     Mick Jagger,   Roy Ayers,    Joe Sample, Marcus Miller, Dire Straits and many more

Rachel Z is well known for her extensive work with Wayne Shorter, Steps Ahead and Peter Gabriel.  She has twelve international releases on the Columbia, Tone Center, Savoy and Canyon Pony labels.  John Fordham of the London Times said “The Rachel Z Trio is an awesomely proficient and intuitive ensemble. Z herself is a devastating performer, with the sweeping capacity for shapeliness and storytelling in a solo that characterizes the very best jazz improvise….
