The show will be long …. Between W.I.N.D.  songs taken from their new album, Allman and Johnny s songs and of course Jams. Like always the show will be different from the other W.I.N.D. shows at Spirit of 66 . People can have a piece of Allman Brothers and a power trio a là GOV’T MULE for a long show. Johnny NEEL played with Allman Brothers Band on "Seven Turns" 1989 cd, on GOV’T MULE "Life Before Insanity" and on Warren Haynes solo record and "Wintertime Blues". He also played with Blue Floyd. His "Ray Charles" oriented voice will duet with Fabio Drusin s voice and Anthon s voice, three lead singers



If you love Allman Brothers, Gov t Mule, Black Crowes, Free and Zep, the old school of Rock and the passion of Blues and Soul you will enjoy this show

But Pianist Jeff Lorber and his Quartet served that evening such a sharp fusion foodJ that you wanted them to convey on this impulsive way, the respect and recognition.

Not only for specialists: That was pure caffeine for the ears, what the West Coast elite delivers in terms of instrumental music and energy. How to installed jazz, funk and Latin in a creative and compositional cars(parts) that catapulted then fine-tuned in the arrangement with soloist top speed through the harmonies that dominate North American jazz musicians like nobody else.

Lorber´s game is expressive, characterized by an unshakable self-image, combined with a powerful sprint to modal chord-bashing tasteful. Alto and soprano saxophonist Eric Marienthal shines with bold contrast interval jumps, sound cool gadgets and Soul Artistry, which provides for transparency in the convoluted song structures. The rhythm crew with Sonny Emory on drums and bassist Victor Bailey is like a miracle of precision. Irresistibly the timing, exactly the hits( and dialogue between), and once they took the lead, the Colts smoked.
