Né de parents chanteurs classiques et élevé dans un milieu américanophile, Alain Rivet, rebaptisé "Leadfoot" par Larry Garner pour sa tendance à appuyer sur le champignon, est l'un des premiers français dans les années 60 à chanter du blues, du rock et de la soul. Il tourne notamment avec les Turnips (avec Captain Mercier et Gil Neau) et les Murators (avec Alain Chamfort à l'orgue) et enregistre une poignée de titres pour Fontana/Philips et Vogue. Il joue ensuite dans "Hair" à Bruxelles, voyage de par le monde, signe sur RCA en 75 pour deux albums (un seul paraîtra) et qques singles. Il fonde en 79 le groupe ROCKIN' CHAIR avec Patrick Verbeke et Claude Langlois: parution de 2 albums sur le label US Ovation records et mini tube avec le titre "Soyez nature".Il participe aussi à l'explosion des radios libres et anime des émissions sur Radio 7 et RFM avant de fonder en 86 Dixiefrog records. Puis de 90 à 97 il fait tourner la fine fleur du blues et de la soul dans toute l'Europe IIl retrouve le chemin des studios et sort en 98 un album en deux versions, anglaise "Bluesmaniac", et française "St Blues", une réussite, composés d'originaux dans les 2 langues et d'adaptations de même ! Participent à l'aventure, outre qques uns des meilleurs musiciens français, Benoît Blue Boy et Patrick Verbeke , Roy Rogers, Poppa Chubby, Amos Garrett, Tommy Castro et son band et Larry Garner. En 2004, il monte avec Neal Black et Nico Wayne Toussaint The BLUES CONSPIRACY, un plateau blues à géométrie variable. De nos jour, il tourne accompagné par The Bluesmaniacs, son groupe habituel. Et ce soir : FRED CHAPELLIER on guitar

PENDRAGON were formed in Stroud, England in 1978. Originally known as ZEUS PENDRAGON it was decided fairly early on to drop the "ZEUS" as co-founder Julian Baker felt it was too wordy to fit on a t-shirt! There were several line up changes in the early days, members included Julian Baker (co-founder/guitar) Nigel Harris (drums) Stan Cox (bass) Robert Dalby (bass) John Barney Barnfield (keys) Rik Carter (keys). The one constant key element was Nick Barrett. The line up then remained the same for almost 20 years, featuring : Nick Barrett (guitar/lead vocal) Clive Nolan (keys) Peter Gee (bass) and Fudge Smith (drums), until 2006 when PENDRAGON and Fudge Smith parted ways.  The new drummer is Scott HIGHAM

Tom Principato, longtemps partenaire de Danny Gatton au sein des Blazing Telecasters, et de Jimmy Thackery avec le groupe The Assassins est considéré comme l’un des maîtres de la guitare électrique bluesy. Il a crée un son très personnel, et le moindre de ses solo est pensé et construit avec soin.    Connu depuis longtemps comme l’un des guitaristes les plus sérieux au niveau mondial Tom Principato, continue, album après album, à surprendre par son niveau et sa capacité à se renouveler. Tom a reçu au cours de sa carrière pas moins de 22 Wammies (Awards décernés par la Washington Area Music Association : WAMA) en tant que « Best Blues Guitarsit », “Best Blues Recording” and “Best Blues Vocalist.”. Tom Principato Band a également construit sa réputation en tournant constamment aux USA mais aussi à travers toute l’Europe. Le groupe comprend également John Perry à la basse, Joe Wells aux drums et Josh Howell ( perc.).

In 1965 Auger formed the group The Steampacket, along with Long John Baldry, Julie Driscoll, Vic Briggs and Rod Stewart. With Driscoll and the band, Trinity, he went on to record several hit singles, notably a cover version of David Ackles' "Road to Cairo" and Bob Dylan's "This Wheel's on Fire", which was featured on Dylan Covered. In 1969 Auger, Driscoll and Trinity appeared performing on the national telecast of "33⅓ Revolutions Per Monkee".

In 1970 he formed Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, shortly after abandoning the abortive "Wassenaar Arrangement" jazz-fusion commune in a small suburb of The Hague. The Oblivion Express served to cultivate several musicians, including future The Average White Band drummers Robbie McIntosh and Steve Ferrone, as well as guitarist Jim Mullen. Likewise, in 1971 he produced and appeared on Mogul Thrash's only album. Two members of that band, Roger Ball and Malcolm Duncan, would also go on to form the Average White Band. In 1989, Auger was musical director for the thirteen-part film retrospective series "Villa Fantastica", made for German TV. A live recording of the series, Super Jam (1990), features Auger on piano, Pete York on drums, Dick Morrissey on tenor saxophone, Roy Williams on trombone, Harvey Weston on bass guitar, with singers Zoot Money and Maria Muldaur. Auger toured with blues rocker Eric Burdon in the early 1990s, and recorded the live album Access All Areas with him in 1993. After several projects, including albums with family members, he reformed the Oblivion Express in the late 1990s, with a line-up that eventually featured both his son and daughter. The Oblivion Express name was revived with a 2005 recording and subsequent touring. The group featured Brian's son Karma Auger on drums, his daughter Savannah Auger on vocals, and Derek Frank on bass. WIKIPEDIA

Après avoir, tout au long de 18 années, proposé les spectacles de la période Peter Gabriel de Genesis, interprétés d'une manière à couper le souffle et plébiscitée dans le monde entier à la fois par les fans et par la Presse, The Musical Box s'oriente maintenant vers la période de la vie du groupe au cours de laquelle Phil Collins a eu l'occasion de faire la démonstration de son remarquable talent de chanteur.

"A Trick Of The Tail" a marqué le début d'une ère nouvelle pour Genesis, tout comme c'est le cas pour The Musical Box aujourd'hui.

Même si parmi les amateurs de Genesis les partisans du line-up incluant Peter Gabriel et les pro-Phil Collins s'affrontent à propos de ces époques musicalement très différentes, il n'en demeure pas moins que "A Trick Of The Tail" est devenu un événement marquant dans l'histoire du rock.

À l'occasion de la tournée "A Trick Of The Tail", en 1976, en parallèle des morceaux de ce nouvel album, Genesis interprétait également un certain nombre de classiques, comme "The Cinema Show", "The Lamb lies down on Broadway", "Firth of Fifth" ou "Supper's Ready". Mais le clou du spectacle était sans doute le duo de batterie de Phil Collins et Bill Bruford.

Pour ce spectacle, The Musical Box utilisera à nouveau les diapositives, films et techniques scéniques originales, afin de vous apporter la qualité et l'originalité auxquelles vous êtes désormais habitués
