Welcome to Bo Dean's forum!

I felt it was about time Tomas had his own discussion group, so here it is!

Tomas should be on here soon to answer your questions, so don't be shy....

Re: Welcome to Bo Dean's forum!

I just received my copy of Cinematograaf yesterday evening.  I haven't listeneded to it yet. In fact I'm just now getting ready to. Nice artwork on cover & inside sleeve. My initial question is where do I order my pair of 3D Bodin Viewers & will they work with all TFK & Bodin DVDs & artwork?

Re: Welcome to Bo Dean's forum!

Hi everyone. I have my copy, and have heard the first two movements twice on the kitchen CD player. Good to be focused on classic keyboards and atmoshpere, very cinematic. Tomas's tunes always have an eerie 1930's gothic melancholy to me. Can't wait to play this on my main speaker system and feel the spaces between the notes.

Re: Welcome to Bo Dean's forum!

Well I received mine a few days ago and have now heard it a few times and come to the conclusion that there should be a film-maker who should make the film for this music and not vice-versa. Tomas has included in my ears several film music cliches that could be used for silent movies but yet it's still great prog. Lovely love theme tune that sticks out and does get you to think about how the script could be.

Conclusion is this is a great crafted integrated prog instrumental album with atmosphere and I'll be listening to it for quite a while. A top album for 2008. Well done Tomas.......

Definitely my favourite in Tomas's catalogue! I normally don't like keyboard-only albums, but quite on the conrtary, this album is so much BETTER becuase no one else is messing with Tomas's ideas ;-)

Well put, Fred.  A stream of consciousness from the mind of Bodin...fantastic.

It would be great if this album resulted in a high-profile film scoring job for Tomas.

I love Cinematograaf. It hasn't been out of my car's CD changer all week.

Well today i joint the group, but i must say it's quit at the front with a new album out.

There should be more activity now. The new album is great, this man knows what he's doing and makes solo or with the TFK beautiful music.

I really hope that the albumsales are very good for Tomas so he will be inspired for new work.

BTW is there any news about "You Are ".

Re: Welcome to Bo Dean's forum!

I think things will pick up in here once Tomas puts up a new website and links to the forum.

Re: Welcome to Bo Dean's forum!

I haven't bought the album because of my budget but I've listened to the samples.
Great stuff.
Years ago I suggested to Tomas (in his old guestbook) that he should try something with film music.Because some of his compositions reminded me of Fabio Frizzi's work for Lucio Fulci.I thought it'd be great.
And now he's done it.I don't know if it's because of me but I'd like to believe that big_smile

Now if he only could get along with Zoltan......
