Kraj mene (transl. "Next to Me"), a song by progressive metal band Lavina, from the Serbian town of Niš, won the national pre-Eurovision contest 2026. It was a popular choice, winning both the public vote and the jury vote. In the public voting, the song received an impressive total of 29,759 votes.





In 2022, I included their debut album Odyssey in my list of albums I chose as the best of that year.
