Toutes les histoires ont une fin, même les plus belles. Après dix années intenses de tournées sans interruption en Belgique et à l’étranger, les héros du blues belge, Guy Verlinde & The Mighty Gators, donneront leur dernier concert en Wallonie au Spirit of 66. En 2018, le bluesman gantois a célébré ses 20 ans sur la route en tant que musicien, mais aussi le dixième anniversaire de son groupe avec un « Anniversary Tour » et un nouvel album, « X ». Après cette année bien remplie et émaillée de nombreux temps forts, le groupe avait envie de se ressourcer, de se tourner vers l’avenir et de dire au revoir à son public en grande pompe. Lors de cette tournée d’adieu, ils parcourront à nouveau leur riche répertoire et vous pourrez profiter une dernière fois de leurs performances énergiques. Un concert à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte pour tous ceux qui ont suivi le groupe durant toutes ces années.

Retour d'un grand classique au Spirit of 66 ! La Convention Prog-résiste effectue un come-back sur ses bases avec "convivialité", "bonne humeur", et "classic Prog" comme maîtres-mots. Back to the roots. GUNGFLY est le groupe actuel du phénoménal multi-instrumentiste suédois Rikard Sjoblom, devenu membre permanent du top-groupe Big Big Train, et qui fréquenta nos planches à plusieurs reprises comme leader de Beardfish. Ses derniers albums sont acclamés partout comme des musts absolus. "Le" groupe qui monte ! Après une trop longue pause, les Finlandais de OVERHEAD viendront fêter leurs 20 ans d'existence en reprenant le mythique "Metaepitome" de 2005, en y ajoutant quelques pépites de leur tout nouvel album, de la même veine. Quant au groupe du Lyonnais Franck CARDUCCI, chacun sait qu'il est aujourd'hui un des plus festifs et énergiques groupes de Prog&Roll du moment ! Du feu "glam-hard-prog" typé seventies sur scène. Fête, convivialité, Rock et Prog garantis. C'est écrit sur la boîte.

Return of a great classic at the Spirit of 66 !  The ‘Convention Prog-Résiste’ goes back to its basics with ‘conviviality’, ‘cheerfulness’ and ‘Classic Prog’ as keywords. Back to the roots.
GUNGFLY is the current band of the phenomenal Swedish multi-instrumentalist Rikard Sjoblom who has become a permanent member of the top band Big Big Train and who has come several times on our stage as the band leader of Beardfish. His last records are applauded everywhere as must-haves. ‘The’ rising band !
After a too long break, the Finns of OVERHEAD will come to celebrate their 20 years of existence by playing once again their mythical ‘Metaepitome’ of 2005 and by adding some wonderful songs from their brand new in the same vein album.
As for the band of Frank CARDUCCI of Lyon, everyone knows that they are today one of the most festive and energetic Prog&Roll band of the moment ! ‘Glam-hard-prog’ fire from the seventies on the stage. Party, conviviality, Rock and Prog guaranteed. It’s written on the box.
