THE TANGENT - NEWS 2017 - REPURPOSING PROGRESSIVE ROCK

Sally Collyer wrote:

Dear all

Some Tangent news for you, apologies for those of you who are regular visitors to our Facebook Group and web site and have already ordered but we are very aware that there are still many out there who might be big fans of Tangent music but not such big fans of social media, this we know includes some of our most loyal and long standing Tangent / Andy fans – we would hate anyone to miss out on Tangent news so – here is a message from a very busy, happy and excited Andy!

"OK - One major life threatener is all in the past, now here comes the future…"

PRE PRE ORDERS

The Tangent are pleased to announce PRE-PRE Ordering of their album "The Slow Rust Of Forgotten Machinery" due to be recorded in 2017. For those interested in helping support the project - this is a 2 tier crowd funding mechanism and the details are on the Tangent web site at the link below. Time is limited for the first option, due to a fairly tight deadline for the artwork to be submitted, as are the number of names we can fit in the booklet and we will end the “Get your name in the booklet” option as soon as we have filled the space available. However, the album will be available at regular pre-order prices later in 2017 so you have the choice to wait. (Not quite) INSTANT GRATIFICATION awaits you - because those who partake in this scheme get access to an hour or so of updating demos of the project so far (five good length songs as of now) and access to these is given as soon as one of us checks our emails.

THE TANGENT LIVE IN 2017

Yes - the band will be playing in the second half of 2017 and one of the highlights of this will be an appearance at the SUMMERS END festival in the UK. The band will once again be playing split shows as The Tangent and also as Karmakanic. The lineup of these bands is as yet to be announced but will for sure include Andy, Jonas and Luke as well as new Tangenteer Marie Eve De Gaultier who also plays with Luke's band Maschine.

Gigs In EUROPE and the USA will include festivals in ITALY and CHICAGO More details VERY SOON”

Very best wishes from all at Tangent HQ and thank you for your well wishes, support and patience during Andy’s recovery, it really did make all the difference.  More news soon of regular pre-ordering, all the tour dates and more projects in the pipeline!
