Du blues "moderne" comme on en voit très rarement de nos jours..OTIS TAYLOR continue toujours à chercher de nouvelles voies dans le Blues... sans oublier ses racines.  Inclassable mais magnifique !



Blues multi-instrumentalist. OtisTaylor isn't defined by any single category. A musical alchemist and a true innovator, Taylor has never been afraid to experiment beyond the Blues tradition.  He's a master craftsman who has created his own signature "trance blues" style by melding haunting guitar and banjo work, syncopated rhythms and a combination of gruff vocals, shouts and yells with raw passion.

Avez-vous déjà entendu parler d'avant-garde transe blues? C'est ainsi, semble-t-il, qu'on peut qualifer la musique de ce multiinstrumentiste natif de Chicago établi dans le Colorado.

Si vous le pouvez, NE LE MANQUEZ PAS, car il se fait quand même relativement rare dans nos contrées... Il vous parlera de civilisations disparues, de la dure réalité des Noirs en Amérique, de personnes rencontrées lors de ses nombreuses pérégrinations et de l'histoire du banjo et du bluegrass
qui ont des racines africaines...

Si on a de la chance, son CONTRABAND nous interprétera peut-être un 'HEY JOE' de derrière les fagots dont lui seul a le secret... et dans lequel sa violoniste en bluffera certainement plus d'un!

La cerise sur le gâteau serait bien évidemment la présence de sa charmante fille Cassie à laquelle il a avantageusement transmis le virus du blues au sens large du terme. Cassie a accompagné son papa pendant de nombreuses années et mène actuellement sa propre carrière (écoutez son
morceau 'Mississippi'!).

Henrik Freischlader is a self-taught musician, a multi-instrumentalist and a composer. He loves the Blues. Motivated by Gary Moore, he made the guitar his main instrument. He started his career as a musician in small venues without any payment, but with faithful fans.

Through his engagement as opening act for Joe Bonamassa in 2007, Henrik gained access to a bigger audience. Over the course of the past few years, he has opened up for B.B. King, Gary Moore, Peter Green, and Johnny Winter.

His own tours in Germany are mostly sold out. In Europe, the interest in his music has been growing. The nomination for the British Blues Awards is a rare honour for a German Blues musician.

LAYLA ZOE doit malheureusement subir une importante et urgente opération au dos et sera donc totalement incapable d'assumer ses concerts prévus dans les prochaines semaines , y compris le nôtre programmé le  22/03

Il est évident que ce concert sera reporté à une autre date dès que cette nouvelle date pourra être fixée

En attendant les tickets achetés pour le 22/03 peuvent restés valables pour la nouvelle date ou éventuellement remboursés aux clients qui le désirent



LAYLA ZOE needs an important and urgent back surgery.  It will be totaly impossible for her to present live shows in the next few weeks, including our show due on 22/03.

No doubt we will have another show date with Layla as soon  as it will be possible to fix a new date for  a show in our club

Meanwhile, tickets already bought stay valid for the new show date ( to be fixed) or can be refunsed where purchased if preferred
