Since more than 30 years, he is the best ambassador of what we might call the music and culture « melting-pot ». He brought his unique art all over Africa and all over the world. If you haven’t seen him live on stage yet, you can’t imagine how much energy is raised by his incredible show. As he often says, he considers himself as an “entertainer” who communicates directly live with his public. That’s the meaning of his music : touching people straight to the heart!The team that organizes the concert of Johnny Clegg in Theux is busy on this project since two years. The timing of this event was pretty accurate : a couple months after the football worldcup in South-Africa but also twenty years after Nelson Mandela got out of jail. In Theux (close to the famous city of Spa), Johnny Clegg will be performing with 8 musicians, singers and dancers. All the spirit and the energy of Africa will be on stage! Most of the songs are issued for “Spirit is the journey”, Johnny Clegg’s best of album.  Johnny Clegg is touring all over Europe until the end of september 2010. Theux will be is only Belgian stop.
