Je peux même dire que sans lui, le SPIRIT OF 66 ne serait jamais devenu ce qu’il est devenu…. C’est clair que nous avons aussi le soutien de nombreux autres animateurs et médias…. Mais c’est Marc Ysaye qui a allumé la mèche…. Son aide a été continuelle depuis plus de 25 ans, sans jamais faiblir…. Tout ça a commencé en 1997, suite au concert de PAUL RODGERS dans notre modeste club… c’était un peu difficile à comprendre qu’une telle star puisse se produire dans un « café » à Verviers !  Bizarre, bizarre.. il a voulu savoir et m’a contacté. Je ne lui avais jamais parlé avant.. et tout a démarré de là…grâce au fait d’en parler sur Radio 21, le Spirit of 66 est très vite devenu « national »…. Voire « international ». Au fil des années il y a eu de nombreuses collaborations, voyages, émissions spéciales, tout ça sans aucune autre considération que l’amour de ce « classic rock » qui nous a fait suivre des routes parallèles…Classic 21 & SPIRIT OF 66 = même « esprit » …. Et ce n’est pas fini du tout, du tout.A page turns… after 35 years MARC YSAYE stops his “Classics” of Sunday morning… So many memories!…. I would like to thank him for all the support he has given to the SPIRIT OF 66…. I can even say that without him, the SPIRIT OF 66 would never have become what it has become…. It is clear that we also have the support of many other presenters and media…. But it was Marc Ysaye who lit the fuse…. His help has been continuous for more than 25 years, without ever faltering…. It all started in 1997, following PAUL RODGERS' concert in our modest club... it was a bit difficult to understand that such a star could perform in a "café" in Verviers! Weird, weird.. he wanted to know and contacted me. I had never spoken to him before...and it all started from there...thanks to talking about it on Radio 21, the Spirit of 66 very quickly became "national"... Even “international”. Over the years there have been many collaborations, trips, special shows, all without any other consideration than the love of this "classic rock" which made us follow parallel paths...Classic 21 & SPIRIT OF 66 = even " spirit " ….
