Grâce à Vince Cardillo, un «cantatore» d’exception à la large tessiture, SteeLover a intelligemment opté pour la seconde voie. L’album « Glove Me » en 1984 a mis en exergue un hard bien patiné, franc du collier et assez coloré. Après de trop longues vacances, SteeLover a réactivé sa coulée continue mais Rudy a finalement décidé de raccrocher ses baguettes au mur .C’est épaulé par ses vieux grognards (Nick Gardi à la basse et Pat Freson aux guitares) que SteeLover se produira maintenant sur scène.
