He will release an album he did with Robert Fripp early this year. Sand Snowman did release two low key LPs on Tonefloat but will have his first hi-profile CD/LP out in Feb/March, with Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree singing on two tracks Fear Falls Burning. : by processing the sounds of his Les Paul guitars through a large and elaborately configured collection effects pedals, Fear Falls Burning produces improvisational music that is by turns meditative, rhythmic and occasionally thunderous. A typical performance begins with a simple, sustained guitar chord. This opening sound seeds the ground from which the entire piece is grown. As the looping and processing techniques are applied, the music evolves, dictating the direction of the performance. Organic variations and imperfections are spontaneously introduced, giving the performance a rich hue of unpredictability. Looped patterns of sound rise and fall, mutated by a succession of realtime treatments. Quant à sa couleur de peau, elle considère que ça l'a peut-être aidée à se faire un nom dans le milieu du blues, mais que ça n'a rien à voir.  C’est sur scène qu’elle donne la plein mesure de son talent avec des shows de la plus haute énergie. Elle aussi aurait pu être reprise dans le Festival de la Guitare, mais là aussi, son booking est arrivé trop tard… Ca ne changera rien  du tout à la qualité du concert . Deborah Coleman is unquestionably, as USA Today notes, "one of blues music's most exciting young talents." Le groupe "The Brew" qui était sur la scène du Spirit of 66 s’est rendu célèbre grâce à des membres atypiques. Le trio britannique compte dans ses rangs 2 jeunes prodiges : Jason Barwick, 18 ans, à la guitare et Kurtis Smith, 20 ans, à la batterie, des noms dont vous risquez bien d’entendre encore parler"The Brew" est un trio, qui montre tous les ingrédients d'une fusion des talents de Jimi Hendrix, de Jimmy Page et de Stevie Ray Vaughan et Jason Barwick. Jason Barwick est certainement un futur talent de la scène rock. Il a commencé à joué de la guitare à l’age de 5 ans et ne l’a plus jamais lâché.La BBC a déjà adopté ce jeune guitariste et l’a promis à devenir l'un des dix meilleurs guitaristes britanniques. Il joue avec la maturité, la fluidité et la clarté d'un musicien de trois fois son âge. Kurtis Smith (19), le batteur du groupe est un digne successeur au trône de Bonham et il est aussi présenti de devenir l'un des meilleurs batteurs d'Angleterre.Non seulement son jeu au sein du groupe est impressionnant, mais son solo sur "Moby Dick" de Led Zeppelin est une sorte de « classe de maître » hallucinante ! Enfin, le troisième larron est Tim Smith, chanteur et bassiste du groupe.
