Dans les années 90, TEX figurait dans le top de la scène blues-rock belge.  Les musiciens s’étaient séparés après avoir sorti 4 ‘full’ CD avec des titres originaux sur le label Tight & Juicy et Rowyna, ainsi qu’un mini-CD en hommage à Jimi Hendrix. Pendant plusieurs années, ils ont donné un nombre impressionnant de concerts et ont joué dans des festivals prestigieux comme le Handzame Blues Festival, Ecaussines et aussi le Belgium Rythm’n’Blues festival à Peer, un des plus grands festivals blues-rock d’Europe.A présent Marc Librecht , guitariste-chanteur et compositeur du groupe a reformé TEX avec Gino Kesteloot, le batteur d’origine et Stefan Boret, un bassiste chevronné. TEX vient de sortir un mini-CD 4 titres intitulé ‘Strike back’, dont le titre démontre bien leur soif de rejouer avec une énergie intense et renouvelée et cela en prenant beaucoup de plaisir sur scène avec le public.
