OK - here's a link to my review at Progarchives:

It's a bit long, and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pulled from the sight.  If that happens, it's also on mpomy.com at:

Re: Destined Solitaire

It arrived today and I'm giving it a spin now. Currently on Destined Solitaire, so not that far through it tongue
Ooh I liked that bit.
As with every album I won't recognise the true beauty of it until later listens wink

Thanks Rikard and crew for giving me something to obsess over for a few weeks.

This is one of those records I like so much, I may have to buy a few more copies.

Re: Destined Solitaire

Yet again, another fantastic album. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it has lived up to my high expectations.
To name but one song, Until You Comply is the best piece of music I've heard in long time. It has it all, fantastic playing, a lot of variation from the heavy to the soft and the slightly bizarre. It also has one of the funniest BF moments: Rikard playing in his lips. Priceless.

Re: Destined Solitaire

Hi

I was wondering if there's a "making of destined solitaire' like with 'sleeping in traffic P2'

If there is,i hope we'll be able to see it soon smile

Re: Destined Solitaire

I've had the album for a couple of weeks now but not had a chance to listen to it properly....
Made the effort this morning and what I've heard so far is very satisfying!!!!!
Rikards Death Metal voice is brilliant!!!! Made me laugh first of all as I didn't expect it.... But still very good.

I'm looking forward to my drive home this evening so I can listen to the rest of the cd.
Sounds fantastic so far so a big thumbs up from me!!!!!

Re: Destined Solitaire

Do yourself and f*cking *crank* "In Real Life There Is No Algebra" - in my opinion, the best cut on the album...

Re: Destined Solitaire

Unexpectedly, I came across Destined Solitaire in one of my city's stores today. There seem to be other people knowing about Beardfish here which is great.
So I grabbed it and I'm listening to it in its entirety for the first time. Until You Comply (as a last.fm user, I'm really a bit confused concerning tagging that song) already amazed me just because "Sun is the devil" was brought back into my mind.

Re: Destined Solitaire

Yesterday I listened again to DS and I noticed that some of the dual guitars sounded like early Iron Maiden. Was this intentional? If so, you know which part I'm talking about wink
