The pioneer of Italian Progressive groups, PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI (PFM for short) is one of the leaders of the 70s prog movement. PFM developed a style which is uniquely Italian while maintaining links with the rest of the prog world. A lyrical, romantic and delicate music, full of fineness. A great melodic and instrumental richness, somptuous compositions and arrangements. Sometimes compared with the early KING CRIMSON, the group had its own musical personality, with its elegant music.

Meena Cryle & The Chris Fillmore Band create an exceptionally honest and exciting brand of music.  Southern Soul, Blues, Gospel and Rock'n'Roll are the labels most commonly used to describe this stand-out formation from Austria. But the band prefers to avoid clichés and pigeonholing. Cryle/Fillmore’s Roots-Cosmos is wide-ranging and eclectic but always deeply rooted in the Blues.
Chris Fillmore, a exceptionally gifted guitar-player, plays a far more important role for the overall musical concept than just being a supportive piece of the band’s whole. He acts as a pivotal figure, an anchor which allows the singer to freely explore, and a safe-haven she can return to again.
Both form a team that, in its intensity, is an exceptional and rare thing in today’s Blues-scene.  Meena Cryle and Chris Fillmore share a deep artistic connection that goes back more than 20 years.

Meena's powerful voice sounds richer and more natural than ever before. Chris Fillmore demonstrates once again that he's more than just an outstanding guitar player; as songwriter, arranger and co-producer, he forms – together with Meena – the foundation of the band.

September 9, 2016 -- The journey of Neal Morse has seen three decades of musical accomplishments, the latest being the inception of THE NEAL MORSE BAND. Morse has forged many relationships over the years with his other bands, Spock’s Beard, Flying Colors, and Transatlantic. However, the most compelling and fruitful efforts have been those with drummer Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, TwistedSister, ex-Dream Theater).
Now the current lineup of THE NEAL MORSE BAND—Morse, Portnoy, bassist Randy George,keyboardist Bill Hubauer and guitarist Eric Gillette—brings forth THE SIMILITUDE OF A DREAM, aconcept album to be released November 11 on Radiant Records via Metal Blade Records/SONY. Preordersfor THE SIMILITUDE OF A DREAM begin today at 10am CT on Radiant Records’ website.

This will be the eighth studio album with Morse, Portnoy and George, and the second as a truecollaboration with this current lineup. A lyric video for the song, “Overture,” premiered on PROG

Magazine’s website earlier today and is now available on the band’s official YouTube page. Clocking in at over 100 minutes, this amazing piece of prog storytelling will leave you breathless,exhilarated, amused and fulfilled in a way that only inspired music can. It will be available in various formats: a two CD package, a Special Edition with the two CDs and “The Making Of A Dream” DVD, or asthree vinyl records along with two CDs.
