Novastar est un groupe de musique belge. C'est avant tout le projet de Joost Zweegers qui selon les albums et les tournées s'entoure de différents musiciens. Vainqueur du Humo Rock Rally en 1996 (concours musical d'un grand magazine flamand), Novastar compte à ce jour trois albums à son actif.     L'avant dernier Another lonely soul a été composé avec l'aide de Piet Goddaer, la voix du groupe belge Ozark Henry.    Le 3e album est une vraie perle…. A découvrir d’urgence en Wallonie, c est déjà une star en Flandres et Hollande !

« Latin One » est le nouveau spectacle que propose Jean-François Maljean. Tiré du nom de son nouvel album sorti cette année en Belgique chez September Records . Il se veut une véritable mise en scène de son nouvel opus. Quittant ses habitudes de piano solo, Jean-François revient avec un band, allant de trois à cinq musiciens, pour retranscrire pleinement la dimension de cet album.

Mais le groupe n’est pas la seule nouveauté. « Latin One » est un projet qui l’a ramené à la musique Jazz en s’inspirant des musiques latines et en flirtant avec l’électro. Ce spectacle est ainsi une peinture musicale d’un nouveau paysage acoustique : l’électro-latin-jazz !
