Re: Beardfish - It's quiet...

What do you mean? Sounds awesome to me! Btw, that's not actually a song, it's an instrumental tongue

Re: Beardfish - It's quiet...

Turd? big_smile

Received in the mail and just listened through Bo Hansson - music inspired by Lord of the Rings. Very comforting album, if you intend to sit down and just exist. Mysterious old woods-feeling to the entire album with a sense of magic hobbit hats as well. I'm serious about the magic hobbit hats. Imagining the music to the movie does not make much sense, but if you focus more on how Hansson saw this music through the book, it does. For those who have to think about the movie (I'm a big fan of the movies), thinking of old Bilbo's handwriting and hobbitish scenery does the trick pretty well. The album inspired me to actually just sit and observe and get the feel of certain items (perhaps old closets with lots of patterns on it and such) or other things and writing music as a result of it. My favorite of this album is so far "The Black Riders" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzdjztxmDHk ) and perhaps the last track called "Early Sketches From Middle Earth". Nice!

Hey guys! David and I visited Masters Of Audio in Stockholm today and guess what we did there? Yes, we mastered the new album! We're now eagerly awaiting the artwork, once again from Spencer Keala Bowden. He's designing his ass off as we speak smile More soon!!

Re: Beardfish - It's quiet...

For some reason I've had this hazy picture in my head of what I think the new album art might look like, but I'm not going to try to describe it just in case it makes me look stupid big_smile

Re: Beardfish - It's quiet...

I'm glad to finally know who does the cover art and I'm glad to hear updates.  I can't wait to listen to this.
