Re: 18.03.2010 in Germany?!

Okay, short impressions:
I knew this nice venue before. 170 km from my place, so that meant a short night... Met quite a few familiar faces. About 50 people were there.
Quantum Fantay from Belgium opened at about 20.30, played for around 1 hour. Seen them once before, did not like them much, liked them this time. Kinda rockier Ozric Tentacles stuff.
The mighty Beardfish started at around 10 and played exactly 2 hours.

Setlist? Damn, I really suck at remembering setlists (and it does not help that I listened to 2 albums on the way to the venue...). Songs they played were:
Destined Solitiare, Until You Comply, Abigail's Questions, In Real Life..., The Hunter (?), Now, the 2 new songs (forgot the titles), Gooberville Ballroom Dancer and a rocky song I forgot to ask Rikard about...
Oh, seems I'm missing quite a few... But I'm sure someone will help out.

Finally bought copies of the 2 Bootcut albums. Talked to Rikard briefly (which I regret now. Not the talking, but the SHORT talking, that is! You - and the whole band are great guys and I totally missed saying that I'm a fanboy... wink ), because I had to get up early (3,5 hours of sleep).
I thought that there wouldn't be many people attending (mostly it being a workday), but the atmosphere was great. The band was FANTASTIC, Rikard being a very entertaining frontman. All the guys smoked on their instruments and seemed to have a lot of fun playing together. And that's what makes a concert good for the audience, I think. Sound was good, the alcohol-free beer tasted quite good (...).
I think Beardfish is especially strong when they play the more "quirkier" songs. I enjoyed them much more than the more straighforward "rockers".

Much better pics from my friend Lutz: http://progrockfoto.de/in....Beardfish/

Re: 18.03.2010 in Germany?!

We had a good time in Russelsheim! As for the set list it was probably something like this;

Into the Night
Destined Solitaire
Until You Comply
The Platform (yes a NEW song...)
Abigails Questions
And Never Know
Now
And the Stone Said; If I Could Speak (another new song...)

1st Encore: Roulette
2nd Encore: The Gooberville Ballroom Dancer + Green Waves (another new song!)

We used this setlist as a base for the two other gigs in Ittervoort (NL) and Wurzburg (DE) as well
Thanks to those who came and thanks for the review Ich_bin_besser!
