After 2010's sold-out debut The Outer Planes that traced the band into the prog orbit and beyond, the Germans returned with this year's undiscovered gem, an album that shows off a lot more than its predecessor. Grabbing influences from the prog, metal, jazz, post-rock and ambient subgenres, with elements heavily based on melody, A Cosmic Trail creates a very unique and distinctive atmosphere.

From the opening Calm to closing Minstral II the album builds up, outlimiting any of the mentioned subgenres. You can hear II: Minstral in entirety on the band's Bandcamp profile. The album is available as digital download, but also on CD and vinyl.
